Belagavi : The Belgaum District Tax Practitioners Association (BDTPA) is hosting state level KSPTA Cricket League in Belagavi for two days from 13th March in association with Karnataka State Tax Practitioners Association (KSTPA), Bengaluru.
It’s a first time such tournament is being organized by the tax practitioners fraternity in the state in which 12 teams from various districts like Bengaluru, Haveri, Ballari, Vijayapur, Kalburgi, Tumkur, Dharwad, Gadag and Bagalkot including two teams from Belagavi will be participating. All matches will be held at Union Gymkhana Ground, said BDTPA president H M Hanagandi speaking to the media persons here on Thursday.
Deputy commissioner MG Hiremath will inaugurate the tournament on Saturday 9 am while former national president, All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP) will be the guest of honour. KSTPA president S Nanjjundaprasad will preside over. Media committee member Jitesh Kabbur said the tournament is just an effort to get rid off from day-today pressure faced by the tax practitioners. It’s a first time such attempt has been made which will be carried forward by the other districts in future, he said.
KSTPA zonal vice president Mahantesh Mudnur, BDTPA secretary Sanjeev Badaganatti, member Ramesh Pardesi were present.
