Belagavi: Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), in a press released today said that the university is constantly assessing the situation, and is keen to mitigate the anxiety of the students, parents, and other stakeholders about holding examinations.
The release said the VTU will issue the circular in the first week of June about the conduction of semester-end examinations and academic calendar based on the directives from the government of Karnataka. And it has requested all the students, parents, and stake other holders not to panic and don’t heed to rumors or misinformation on the conduction of examinations or any other issues related to VTU examinations.
The government of Karnataka is likely to issue some directives in this regard in the first week of June, after deliberating with all the vice-chancellor of the universities. Until then teaching-learning interventions will continue through various digital platforms.
Also VTU has directed all the affiliated engineering colleges to ensure that the proper guidance and information be given to the students regarding academic calendar, health and welfare, a standard operating procedure to be followed, etc. and also to be in touch with the entire stakeholder.
