Belagavi : After having strong presence and success across the nation, National Finishing & Cookery Institute (NFCI) was inaugurated in Belagavi on Saturday. The 11th branch of the institute India was inaugurated in association with HSDI- a venture by Niyaaz group. Internationally acclaimed, the institute will be offering world class opportunities to the students in and around Belagavi desirous of pursuing their career in food and hospitality industry.
The formal inauguration of the institution was done with the auspices of MLA Anil Benake, in presence of Irshad Soudagar of HSDI and Mrs Brijinder Kaur Nagpal and Pemninder Singh Nagpal of NFCI along with directors Col J Asdeep Nagpal, Anjna Joshi & Sanjeev Kumar directors of , NFCI Group, Irshad Soudagar and others were present.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Sanjeev, the Administrative and Finance Director of NFCI group, stated that the centre was all set to provide the best of the amenities and opportunities for those aspiring to make a mark in the hospitality industry. He shared the fact that NFCI centers were approved by NSDC (National Skill Development Corporation) and that the employment opportunities for the qualifying students were multifarious, both in India and abroad.
Anjana Joshi said that the institute offers both short and long term courses, associated with cookery and hospitality. Irshad Soudagar said that he was happy to be associated with the renowned group and looked forward to see the centre provide a holistic grooming to the forthcoming students from Belagavi and Goa region.
Extending his wishes to the institute and stating that the institute would give wider opportunities to the students in Belagavi region MLA Anil Benake said that food with all ingredients may or may not be complete, however, food prepared with love and care satisfies the hunger.
Chairman of the Karnataka Minority Development Corporation Mukhtar Pathan who emphasized on the skills development and employability aspects said that henceforth Belagavi would be now known to provide international class cooking and hospitality experts.
