Belagavi: It’s common leaders of the party getting disappointed, if they did not get a ticket to contest elections as they worked hard to build the party. But it’s a situation to think for the betterment of the party, for which sometimes there is need of making some compromises. Those party leaders did not getting party ticket will be persuaded by giving alternative posts, said law and parliamentary affairs minister JC Madhuswamy.
Speaking to the media persons here on Wednesday, Madhuswamy said ” I hope the party leaders who are losing tickets will understand the situation,” he said. He also expressed confidence of winning all 15 seats in the byelections by saying that, voters of the state want BJP government should continue.
Welcoming the Supreme Court verdict, Madhuswamy said it was quite obvious there was tension prevailing among the disqualified MLAs due to delaying court verdict. If the verdict would have come earlier, all disqualified MLAs could have continued working in their respective constituencies as usual, he said. Madhuswamy also stated that giving B form to those disqualified is left to the party high command.
